Gather at our relaxed eatery - share stories, play games or simply take in the charming garden views.

While the food is top-notch, the atmosphere is laid back and casual, which makes it a great place to eat with younger children.

There’s a kids menu for little ones and lots of hearty choices for growing teens too, including big juicy burgers, chunky chips, towering sandwiches and wholesome salads.

We are open all day long, and serve coffees, snacks, lunch, dinner and light bites.

There are huge bay windows overlooking our lovely grounds and comfy chairs, sofas and stools to recline in, so come along and chill out.

Kids Eat Free

We want to make a family break as exciting and affordable as possible, which is why children under the age of 12 stay and eat for free, when staying with a full paying adult.

This applies to a maximum of two children per full paying adult and is applicable in all outlets - The Pentland Restaurant and The Brasserie.

Children 12 and under will enjoy complimentary breakfast when accompanied by a full paying adult - this applies to bed and breakfast packages as well as guests who are booked on a Room-Only rate and pay on the day.

For dinner; children will be able to dine complimentary when ordering from the children’s menu, when their grown up pays for a main course.
